Cara is a numbers person at heart, and her background in accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll has served her well.

Don Bennett Jr.
Don Bennett, Jr. is the newly appointed executive director of the Illinois Campground Association (ICA), bringing with him a wealth of experience in campground association management and destination marketing. Before his role at ICA, Don served as the President & CEO of Campground Owners of New York State, Inc (CONY) until May 2023 and was inducted into CONY’s Hall of Fame in November 2023.
His firm, Merchantry Tourism, LLC, based in Pittsford, New York, has been engaged by the ICA to manage the association’s day-to-day operations. Today, through his company and industry affiliations, he guides campground owners in rapidly turning vision into profit—and feeling empowered along the way.
Jeff Reed
Jeff Reed is the visionary Founder and CEO of Staylist, a trailblazing reservation management software designed for the lodging industry. Since 2015, Jeff has led Staylist from its inception to becoming a key player in the market, serving over 30 states and Canada.
